I hadn't heard of this bloke 24 hours ago but now I feel enriched by the discovery! Musician, car nut and mad as a box of frogs. I've spent much of today watching his videos, which include creating a variety of musical instruments, rebuilding a church organ, and the restoration of a 1969 Mini Traveller with a turbocharged engine. He also owns an Austin 7 and runs a museum in Kent called "This Museum is (not) Obsolete". His enthusiasm and energy are infectious.
I'd put money on "Nil point" in the Eurospasm contest
It is either crazy enough to do really well at Eurovision OR...
...we'll fall foul of usual tactical voting and/or seemingly constant dislike for UK entries (a fair few which deserve it but even the ones that don't end voted below the standard dross).
So, I'll be interested to see if the wackiness that usually does well in this song contest manages to avoid how entries from the UK generally fare.
As was alluded to above, the fact that Sam Battle has built most of the equipment he will be using for the song contest is pretty impressive.
