What make of kevlar jeans do you use Phil?.... my leathers are getting a bit past it and have considered switching ... there certainly has been a revolution in bike-gear in recent years and I've been a bit left behind 🙂

I use HOOD jeans - bought my first pair about 22 years ago, and still using them, but got a new pair last year and they are poles apart. I've now Retro fitted Ghost Armour to the original pair.

I really noticed the improvements in motorcycle gear when I started biking again just over three years ago after a twelve year break. I had sold off all my old stuff so needed to get new. Found an RST two piece all year round suit on ebay hardly used for £140 and it is brilliant. Still very heavy though but it has all the armour protection which I like. I bought Bullitt kevlar jeans and they are really good and you hardly notice the armour on the knees and hips.
