Just came across a company called Vintage Wings based in Preston, Lancs. Looks like a one-man business offering new Morgan wings, cowls etc in steel or aluminium for pre '99 cars.
Does anyone have any experience with products from Vintage Wings? I know I'm going to be in the market for at least one wing before too long.
Cheers, Colin

Tim on here, under the name Hamwich, has replaced the wings on his Morgan. I’m sure he’ll be along soon with his excellent knowledge and details of where he purchased them.

Yep VSM or Holden. Tim Ayres at new elms is retiring at the moment but I'm sure the company is still going from strength to strength. It's not an easy thing fitting wings but you also don't want to pay the earth! Believe me you can!

I did indeed replace my wings, but I went for glass fibre. I got them from Sid Watson, who I believe has since retired. I have no idea what happened to the moulds. People say that fitting the wings is a very skilled job, but the skill is in being able to get it done in a sensible timeframe. I did it myself and it wasn't particularly difficult, it just took hours and hours of measuring, marking, trimming and test fitting. I was wary of cutting off too much so I did it a smidgeon at a time. As a result it probably took me two full days per wing for the fronts, the rears were dead easy. If I wanted someone else to do it I'd go to Steve Barnes at Vintage Sheet Metal, he's flipping excellent.

Sid Watson has in fact passed away I'm sorry to hear that, he was a lovely chap and extraordinarily skilled at glass fibre work.
