Getting fed up seeing the heading Prudent Porsche when I beamed up TM, I was pleased to trip over this podcast in a series entitled The Luxury Dispatch, perhaps more aimed at those with a tad different lifestyles from the one I have enjoyed to date, but being the non-envious type, I am happy to listen to true car enthusiast chat regardless of one`s financial status, thus I found most of the input from both parties rather interesting relative to their personal prioritisation in terms of aspects of classic car judgements...

The podcast is a couple of minutes short of an hour long, and there is a very brief, but I think important mention of Morgan...(-:
I guess there are worse ways to pass an hour...?

Being a top male model (?) Gandy gets to go on all the nice events with Jaguar like the Mille Miglia for instance, i saw him there in Brescia and also at the last Saville Row event, good luck to him, I'm only jealous

Luddite,
Yes I did watch it, thanks for posting, obviously with my acknowledged love of Jaguars it was very interesting to hear David talk about the much maligned new Jaguar E.V. can't wait to see it in the metal, hope it is a great success for all concerned though I doubt I would buy one, more likely to seek out a nice XKSS replica.
The reference to high end tailoring was interesting having seen the work that goes into the making of a decent Saville Row suit which reminded me of a missed opportunity recently, a friend of mine who looks after loads of old cars has a Rolls and asked me if I could help out by doing a wedding for him however I had to decline as the first thing I did upon retirement was to burn all my white shirts and suits .never again will I be coupled up to such apparel.

I haven't watched the video yet but it is on my list, thank you George.

I do remember when MMC were doing a few bits with David Gandy, during Charles's time. If I recall correctly, it was around the time when Morgan did a collaboration with a tailor to produce a, not inexpensive, driving jacket (blazer). My recollection doesn't go as far as to whether Mr Gandy was featured wearing it but I do recall him going to a few events, where media were present, arriving in a Morgan.

I'll look forward to watching the video and hearing what he has to say. From the title, I'm sure it will align with my own opinion on how cars should be used.

That sentence parsed through Gemini:

After getting bored with the "Prudent Porsche" content on TM, I discovered The Luxury Dispatch podcast. Even though the lifestyle it describes is very different from mine, I enjoyed the authentic car talk and the insights into how they judge classic cars.

Thanks. I'll watch it later.

Someone's bought the old Wood & Picket name and Ian Callum designed the first new classic Mini they've made in a rather nice shade of metallic bronze...

David Gandy is the owner, saw it at Stanford Hall last year (approx £100k - ouch !)
