Rich I don't have an iphone or other phone that can take photos. A photo from Dartmouth Castle last year was compressed - taken on an old Leica in portrait format. If taken in landscape format compression did not occur.

I've suffered the distortion issue too
My cure was to very slightly edit the photo on the mobile (even just a tiny crop off one edge) and the image library reads it correctly Yes I've had the same issues and found the same cumbersome cure with portrait format photo's, and I've never used an iphone. It shouldn't happen though. ibb.com which I also use as a preference for picture hosting appears to use the same software format and doesn't cause this issue. tm-img admin please note.

Drove 95 miles on pretty boring roads to and from my closest dealer to get my agreed valuation form stamped. Lost £4K in 3 years, I’m fine with that. I was there no more than 10 mins! After some punishing roads driving through Holland, Belgium & France (and hitting a lorry strap) things felt a little 'off' After a through check over, found the SSL main springs must have sagged a little as the gap to the rebound was alarmingly large, so gaiters & dampers off and re-adjusted several times followed by the drop test, now sorted ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2026/05/08/Rebound-spring.md.jpg) ps, this is pre clean up

Yes agreed, the Wolfies are the best & I have a pair in stock but can't be ar5ed with the amount of strip down to fit 'em - so the mohair hood material ones from Mr DW will go back on
I also like the ability to pop off the DW version for a clean and check-up at least once a year
