While parking my car in the garage last night, I discovered this arched, aluminum-colored piece behind my grille. It came loose from somewhere, but I don't know where!
Do you have any idea what it is ?
Perhaps it's the upper grille mounting bracket, because I discovered a few weeks ago that my grille was only attached at the bottom...

No idea but it does look right to hold on the grill. Dealer time I guess.

Its the bracket that holds the top of the grill. It is stuck onto the underside of the cowl and comes unstuck. Mine came off on a long road trip to Italy. Dealer will glue it back for you.

What? There are bolt holes for this part but only tape holding it up?

On the Classics the time honored grill securing was provided by slots inside the cowl which located the top. Why did MMC feel the need to re-invent the wheel with this clearly troublesome botch on CX series
