I have changed garages for the MOT annual check and a number of jobs now present to get to grips with :
FAIL:
Two tyres on the rear to replace.
Rubber pad for the brake pedal missing
Sidelights not working (fuse just now replaced)
ADVISORIES:
One rubber boot on the steering rack split.
Offside track rod end slight play.
One rear shock bush slight play.
Slight play in the front wheel bearings.

Having clocked up 90,000 miles its no surprise really.
Whilst down there on my hands and knees:
I shall also replace the chamois leather wraps on the sliding pillars and lubricate rear springs and universal joints on the prop shaft.
Also grease the sliding pillars and clean out the wheel bearings with new grease.

Proportions on the 4/4 are perfect. With over-riders, spare wheel and rack, and the period standard reverse and fog lamp, it never worked better.

For the replacement tyres, I can heartily recommend Vredestein T-Trac 2. I recently switched to using them after years of using the Sprint Classics, and they are just as good despite costing less than half the price.

For the pedal rubber, just buy a strip of self-adhesive skateboard grip tape.

The Duratec 4/4 is all the Morgan you'd ever need................imho..... but I am biased.......😆 I'd imagine other may have differing opinions though...............🤷🏻‍♂️

A yes from me for the Vredesteins, I've got 5, no complaints..👍🏼
I got my grip tape from Tool station, 50m of it for no money at all.....the pedal rubbers always drop off....

Stunning photo, mega mileage....!!!
