Good morning all from a gloriously sunny Somerset !

I would like to change/improve the bezels on my 4/4 dash without the complications involved in lowering the dash, removing instruments etc. I have been trying to contact Wolf Performance to see if they would have any more sets for the 4/4 but there is no response. So my question - is it feasible to use a ne set of bezels, snip off the numerous lugs, and silicone them in place over the existing bezels. ?

Guidance/advice from you knowledgeable people is always welcome.

Because of the geometry, placing a bezel over one the same size (your originals) they will stand proud.

Firstly, what is wrong with the bezels, rusty I presume? Well they actually clean up quite well but you will need to drop the dash... not something to fear at all and is a very simple procedure. Many articles here on how to do that.
If your bezels are really stuffed from age and open top motoring then you may have to change them or paint them.

You don't say which model/age your 4-4 is so with the options of dash I won't guess and start explaining yet.

There is a company in Wales that refurbish and or supply such parts but I can't for the life of me remember the details other than they are current and primarily Smiths repairers. Someone will come along and tell you.
Melvyn Rutter refurbish clocks but expect a wait and a bill although the results are excellent!
