My Beautiful 4/4
At the end of a beautiful run across the Somerset levels duty called and I went up to the allotment to assist in the creation of a large fruit cage. I cant recommend this as a harmonious activity.

Chris, car looks great. Love to see a picture of it in the Cider Barn orchard, when the white blossom is out. Been a few weeks since down your and our old way, but heading back in a couple of weeks. Missing the rhubarb cider and fish & chips in Lyme Regis area Do post about your upcoming Euro trip and any places , towns, villages, hotels etc you enjoyed. We seem to like some of the same places you mentioned before.
Big wedding in Spain in early August , decided to get the ferry to Santander instead of driving through France .From Spain, nice road trip to Slovenia before coming back through glorious Germany and Belgium. Enjoy your summer. MM

My good lady and I drove through the Picos when returning home from Andalucía having taken a bit of back country Portugal on the way. We were of course open top cruising in our old +8, but as we climbed up into the mist the temps dropped considerably, still, a memorable drive indeed. We too used the Plymouth to Santander ferry. Hope you have a great trip. I am bound to have some pics somewhere but that was back in circa 2003, so well out of date now... (-:

Cocked up a bit, we are on the 2 night crossing from Portsmouth. Now been told Plymouth is faster and 1 night , similar cost. Still Portsmouth is so close to south London., Plymouth a slog . As we have never been on or wanted a cruise holiday, my wife has mailed our friends currently off Alaska on a ship, that we are going on a cruise ……! Thanks to both for the suggested pass . MM

We've done the same "cruise" to Santander in the past in our roadster. Very good food. The only cruise we've ever done. Have a great trip.

I am sure it won’t be a problem Mike - look at it as having 2 nights to dream of the wide open roads across Spain and round to Slovenia. Seriously jealous but…….. have planned for a trip to the French National Automobile Museum for day 4 of our trip, and on Day 3 we are arriving at our hotel near Lucerne on a car ferry ! Got to be an uber cool way to arrive. Enjoy your “cruise” and I highly recommend the Rioja in Haro if you get that way !
