I think I've shared this great video before, but it fits well in this thread again.

Images of this bike suggest to me maybe greater than 90° between cylinders. In fact its 88° so must be a trick of eye or camera. Odd that 90° was not chosen as with Guzzi or Ducati giving perfect primary balance with common crankpin and balance lobe, although with secondary balance issues taken into account probably makes little overall difference.

What a great location to be riding american bikes. I had the pleasure of riding my Harley across the US for 3 weeks in '93 and you do over time become really alive to the ethos/genre behind the thinking, development and application of the american motorcycle......in it's natural environment. Never experienced it to the same extent in whilst riding in Europe.
