• Midsummer Coupé signals a defining chapter in Morgan’s coachbuilding evolution, with nine client commissions to follow the artists’ proof revealed today.

• Exterior design created in collaboration with Pininfarina, Midsummer Coupé represents the culmination of the original Midsummer concept, introducing dramatically different proportions, greater visual tension and a more resolved silhouette.

• Conceived with touring in mind, Midsummer Coupé combines year-round usability, luggage practicality and long-distance comfort with the sense of occasion that defined the original Midsummer.

• Creating Midsummer Coupé required significant structural development, including billet-machined aluminium A-pillars, bonded structural glazing and stressed-skin construction.

• Built upon Morgan’s CXV-Generation bonded-aluminium platform, Midsummer Coupé combines advanced engineering with lightweight construction, weighing just 2.5% more than a Supersport fitted with a hardtop.

• Each vehicle is handcrafted using a hybrid manufacturing approach that combines traditional coachbuilding techniques with advanced fabrication, digital measurement and contemporary engineering methods.

• Midsummer Coupé demonstrates Morgan’s expanding expertise in design, engineering and coachbuilding, whilst continuing the company’s longstanding tradition of creating highly exclusive, low-volume commissions.

• Every commission will be developed individually through a close collaboration between Morgan and its owner, resulting in nine unique interpretations of the concept.
