On my old Duratec ARP4 I had fitted oil pressure and oil temperature sensors, connected to a dual gauge placed where the clock normally sits, then resited the clock. It is really handy to monitor the engine. I would like to do the same on my recent Plus Four, does anyone know where sensors can be fitted and where to obtain them please?

AI answer Paul but typical fitting advice for any aftermarket gauge.
To install an aftermarket oil pressure gauge on a BMW B48 engine, you must use an M12x1.5 T-fitting adapter. This allows you to retain the factory warning sensor while accommodating your new gauge sender. The entire process involves installing an adapter, routing the sensor, and wiring the gauge.
You should be able to fit a combined oil temp and pressure sensor to feed combined gauge. I know VDO offered one and probably still do.
