Thanks Gomog.... the battery location on a Six is on the nearside (UK) under the bonnet.. Luckily I married my driving partner 43 yrs ago and she is still much lighter than I am. So the Morgan design team got that one correct.😄 However she also acts as a throttle and braking advisory service in real-time. Which turned out to be an accessory that is difficult to overide...😂.😂

Astute planning! It is awkward trying to explain to one's beloved why you moved the battery behind you. pantsdown

In my case, the lady is always pushing me faster. That being said, she won't help me passing when we took the UK trad across the Channel.

I know this is a pain in the arse. But when my MOG was my only car, I never had no trouble with my battery. However, those days are over and I don't use the MOG when the weather is rubbish. That's not to say anything planned, if it's planned, then I'm out whatever the weather. During the winter I just take the battery off and store it in a warm room. Takes 10 minutes to refit.

As you point out the answer is regular use of your Morgan and these many different maintenance issues seem to go away and the Morgan proves to be quite a reliable car to enjoy......idleness leads to more problems in my experience.
