I’m with TBM, I love walking in London, I must look like I’ve stepped off Walton mountain to most folk there though, it’s all so exciting to me😂
I like the tube once or twice on a visit, but like a vindaloo curry, I wouldn’t want it often.

We did some work down in the tubes for tech many years ago. From a tech point of view everything that goes down there is considered to be limited life and possibly 1-2 years. It comes out black and coated even when it is put in racks with filters and seals. We won't talk about the rats in the tunnels, just do not ever get caught without a stick to make noise and a good lamp.

The temperature is also a know problem. Do a quick search on the interweb and you will see loads of what counts as modern investigative journalism! You might want to watch this with the sound turned off to just see the numbers for each line.

I have avoided the tube for years but it is just so practical as the car is now so hated in/by town.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Of all the forms of transport I have used in my life, I suspect the underground in my city was one of the safest and convenient compared to others I have used over the years, but around the time I used to make use of it in on a regular basis it was more than likely transporting me to work under someone`s dusty floor, or even more dusty attic, or huge dirty, dusty and noisy industrial facility, all over a decade or more before H&S along with Thatcher & Reganonomics took over .... Life was and still may be for some, more of a risk than for others which is not always appreciated by the more "fortunate" ...?
I think any yoof as I was at the time might feel a tad more self worth if they had the opportunity to be appernticed in a similar regeim as I was exposed to in the sixties... Unfortunately few of the industrial complexes I worked in no longer exist...Pity..?

Yeah a run in the old Mog has potential to re-set one`s frame of mind ...? (-:
