I have wondered about the anodize wearing out myself. Harleys have used anodized pulleys for years without
problems. Also used for aftermarket primary belt drives and high performance chain drive sprockets. We made
press dies out of anodized aluminum and formed thousands of parts without wearing out dies.

I'm bringing this thread back to life, what's my options for a new rear sprocket? does Fabi000 still make them?

I suspect that would depend on whether he is still working at the missile factory and can source their offcuts of the special very tough maraging steel (originally developed for nuclear bomb casings to confine the nuclear reaction for a few microseconds to allow fusion to occur in the deuterium/tritium mix). After 14,000 km, my Fabien sprocket is showing zero wear.

Hi Andy,

What's the better option, the Morgan supplied steel version or the M3W services lightweight version, I assume it's the latter?

Cheers,

Well, that's what I use! Both will do the job but the lightweight one is MUCH lighter (and beautifully made).

I had a sprocket made by Fabio back when I still had my MTW. He would start a small production run whenever there was enough demand. He is based in Belgium.

M3W Services had them in stock at one point. You could check them as well.
