Well enjoy the demo, the CX is a quick car and it's useful especially in built up areas to have the digital speedo readout directly in front of you..........it's great not to have to deal with little things like the trad hood ear flaps everytime you shut the car door.........and the comfort, heated seats are worth the expense.

Yes Dan is back in the rudest of good health, thank goodness, We had what almost turned out to be a track day, we tried out a Aero V8 trad, a new plus four and of course the star turn the supersport. I didn't see the point in the V8 trad, I didn't like it at all, the plus four I found to be very addictive in its turn of speed and the little time it takes to potentially have your collar felt by the boys in blue. Now, the star turn, the supersport, what a great car, so comfortable and silly fast, we had a couple of runs along the road from KH up towards Mildenhall ( which you probably know ) looking for drain covers and rough bits of road to test my backs reaction, it was perfect. WE now await the final statement on the cost to change, if we can afford it we will do it, the car is just so good., I can't believe how much difference there is to have actual suspension in a Morgan, it's like a real car but still fun. As an aside, Dan told me that the 4/4 80th celebration that I sold to KH has been bought by Matt. Hole, the CEO of Morgan, wish I had known he wanted it I could have made a profit.

Good news all round then. I agree the Supersport is in another league but so is the cost.

Good to see that you enjoyed the test drive's of the CX and CXV cars.........they are a revelation compared to a trad........hope the finances can stretch to achieve your ambition of a Supersport. They are without question great fun, fast, easy to enjoy and live with, with less compromises in ownership.experience.

My car was back at MMC to sort a water leak round the screen/ hood corner plus windnoise. Warranty adjustment after bubbling paint on the screen pillar sorted. Now great. It was due for its 3 year service and MOT. I got MMC to do those. I mentioned the less than great handbrake as a possible MOT issue. No problems. It's now so much better. I checked it on a steep hillI used regularly and it now holds properly. New rear pads fitted (😱 ££) and settings checked. Everything else looking good.
As the miles go up I am enjoying the car more.

It's so good to read stuff like this. Feedback from a genuine experienced Morgan owner is worth its weight in gold compared to fluff from motoring writers.

Did 160 miles in my Plus Four today taking it to see those nice people at Allon-White for its 3 month check up. Crested 3000 miles on the way home. It really is a fabulous car - comfortable, economical, refined. Enjoying it more and more as the weeks go by.

Its great to read comments from people who have owned and loved trads and moved across to the CX and love them. I know I sell them hard in my upbeat comments and often wonder if I over egg my admiration and my enjoyment of them....but thats clearly not the case. Glad to hear you really are enjoying the car.

Still trying, it's a great car but so expensive, I was looking at a one year old Porker Boxter yesterday, the full fat 6 cylinder job, not your flat 4. and it was only £85.000 with little mileage and loads of toys, the problem is that there are 3 down our road so it really doesn't have the appeal of a handbuilt morgan hope for some good news tomorrow, you chaps will know soon enough.
