the problem is that there are 3 down our road Says it all really. I'm sure they are splendid cars, but they are hardly noteworthy.

Exactly. I think we are all a bit odd and not part of the mainstream.

"Quirky" is the way that the new Morgan dealer, Ranmore, described our cars, and therefore (by implication, perhaps) us. Works for me.

Me too, well the big Supersport adventure has come to a halt, in addition to being very expensive, the insurance quote I received would have paid for quite a nice holiday, perhaps that's why I have yet to see one on the road yet most dealers seem to have at least one in stock. We will just keep enjoying the simple pleasure of driving around in our trad.

Interesting that you say the insurance quote was high.......🤷🏻♂️ Insurers obviously want to cover themselves and think that the Supersport is too high a risk for them........ Low volume, 'hand built', high value, cost of rebuild or write off in event of an accident.........🤷🏻♂️
Unless of course you're 19 Reg...............😁

On a recent Factory tour the guide admitted that even a minor bump could result in an insurance write off as the bonded chassis is usually deemed unrepairable

It does seem a couple of wings and a panel and your suddenly in possible write off mode. Our 20 20 plus 6 is insured for 70k I doubt they would pay more than 60k in the current market . I hope going forward Morgan have started keeping off the shelf wings etc. There seems to always be a big delay when someone has a ding.

Talked to my Gap insurance company 2 months ago, as its coming to an end .. they were saying that the list max price for a 2020 Plus Six with over 10K miles on the clock would be 56K£... I honestly thought it would be about 65K£..

Many of us have had a thraping and got the man maths a bit wrong who would have thought. It will obviously hit home if you have to sell. Trouble is the dealers are not taking in stock and dozens are now going to auction and suppressing prices. Very concerning for morgan you would think at a time when they clearly produce their best products in years. I for one will lump the mileage on and enjoy the car.
