This was a few days ago. It happens fairly regularly.

Pembrey bombing range, Airfield ( ex WW2 fighter base), Pembrey Race circuit and Country park ( ex munitions factory) just inland over the dunes/forest.

Thanks for posting the vid, it would have been interesting to see them turning on the beach too, perhaps a Putin promoted practice run for NATO forces...

Great footage - amazing. Doesn’t the sand get in the engines?

Great video, many thanks for posting. Typing these words after just driving pass a few of these at Boscombe Down. Impressive bit of kit!

Landings have been fairly regular. I think the sand isn't a major concern as these aircraft are designed to cope with all conditions. A mate's son was a pilot of them and did many visits to the beach. The sand remains damp so limits air blast. I know the beach well, fished it innumerable times, learned to drive on it and the adjacent forest and airfield that was closed in a Willys Jeep and Landrover.
The area is great for military plane spotting. The Pembrey range attracts all types, there is a route they take through mid wales for low-ish flying.
A pair of Tornados did a fly-past before being taken out of service as a thank you for using the range and area.
Red Arrows used to do displays for Kidwelly carnival day as a thnk you too.
Pre Falklands Harriers did some spectacular training at Pembrey as the geography afforded Falklands-like conditions. LOW level down valleys over the estuaries to hit the bombing range from new directions to the normal circuit.

They flew past our house in the Towy valley, wondered where they were off to.
