FolkMog celebrates the MSCC 75th 5.8.26

In deepest darkest Suffolk 50 Mogs & 100 Morganeers met up to celebrate the 75th.

With Plus Four & Supersports demo drives from Krazy Horse , detailing demos from MaJ and the band Not Dead Yet we had a great time supported by Nick & his team at the Old Mill House, Saxted Green.

The cost was £15 per person but each car got a goody bag & Krazy Horse provided a voucher for a free MOT meaning you made money!

The weather was warm but cloudy so a good day was had by all.

Tripletone .. there's a blast from the past ... EL 84s in those ... nice sound if you don't wring it's neck 🙂
When I met her, Mrs Image had a Transcriptor Reference, quad 44/405 and big Tannoys ... wish she'd kept them 🙂 ... she fancied the electrostatics but we went travelling.

I always wanted a transcriptors deck but never managed it. To be honest the Quad electrostatics are a bit of a pain. Frequent servicing required and lots of "they all do that sir" responses. Same thing for the amps too actually.
Sounds familiar don't it !

On final reckoning, the £15 cost per person proved sufficient to match our expenditure.

A great time was had by all and the foundations for FolkMog’s future success have been well and truly laid.

Looks like great value for money, and worth travelling some distance for it.
