Heard for the first time in eight years of 3.7 Roadster ownership, a discreet set of four beeps when coming to a halt and sometimes repeated. Particularly noticeable today on a 100 mile round trip to GEG lunch. No MIL light or error code showing so not a CANBUS issue, I then concluded it was caused by slightly low brake fluid, with warning exacerbated by braking, especially as I'd done a recent fluid change
. Sure enough it was found to be a little low so easily sorted. The float sensor signal goes to BCU so presumably it triggers a dedicated beeper somewhere despite none being shown on wiring schematic.
Note four cylinder models of same era have low fluid sensor as well but the signal directly triggers an LED warning light.
