Despite owning more than a dozen watches, I invariably forget to wear one, however I still lust over a A .Lang Sonne watch, wouldn't dare to wear it anywhere though.

The field is somewhat narrowed if you are left-handed.

I wasn't familiar with this young British brand: Bremont.
The project is interesting coffee
The goal is clearly to create a rather high-end, 100% in-house manufactured watch thinking :

I've just restrapped my Buren Intramatic with a nice tan leather strap. 1950's model, slim thin casing, black dial. Buren invented the automatic winding mechanism and were bought out by Hamilton, I think. A nice, understated watch versus modern big cased ones. Keeps good time and a clear easy to read dial/hands.
A lottery win and it would probably be an Omega Moonwatch. Omega won the deal for the Apollo astronauts as it tested better than the alternatives. Hence the Moonwatch model. I believe the astronauts were presented with limited edition cars too. Corvettes.

I would have thought that a watch going back in history to when the Morgan designs first came out would be appropriate. See https://antiquewatchuk.co.uk/produc...r-chronograph-pocketwatch-calibre-19-73n

A car from the past surely deserves a watch from the past.

I have a manual clock from a Russian Mig. Bought for me by sospan inr. He was out in Khazakstan on a short work project and got it for me.
I started a mount for it for the Plus8 but not completed. Mechanical winder plus two timers. It also had electrical contacts on the back that I assume were for heating it. It.'s on a shelf at the moment. If I can find a big enough strap......

Itโ€™s a birthday gift from SWIMBO, but with the message that it has to be the last one.
And it will be so because the drawer is full.
