A day out with AngleMog today to the Glenham Hall car show. 5 CXs & 2 trads from Anglemog joined.
The Bonnie is a Royal Wedding Special from 1981.

Thank you Simon for the organisation.

The trunk on what looks like a Bentley, is from the prewar period. We had two of those. Nothing grand and may have been a composite pape mache. They survived well and they were used for the luggage in advance service, which British Railways operated in the 50s. That one is painted green, and you can sort of see the effect that painting has made. One of our family trunks vanished, and I gave the other away when my mother passed. They are common at heritage railways.

A nice run out with Hawki to meet Ray at the Vic in Earl Soham for a burger & a pint. The Earl Soham Brewery is a small local firm producing great ales.
Waze gave us a very twisty fun drive to & from the pub.

Enjoyed a 200 mile drive yesterday for my 1,000 mile "courtesy check" on my 2026 Plus Four. I also had the OS light coming on intermittently, which needed to be resolved. Outstanding first service experience with Morgan Cars Mid-Atlantic who guided my through the order/delivery process.
Mike, the lead service tech, explained what they would do, asked lots of questions about my experience driving the car, then took it on a test drive to see what it needed. The team was very thorough, and brought me out with the car on the lift to and the bottom protective plates off to show/explain some of the small tweaks they made.
The OS fault was likely the result of a needed software update, but they did a recalibration just to be sure.
I waited for the car, and the work was complete in less than 3 hours. I came away with a very positive feeling about the expertise and care from Morgan Mid-Atlantic--and how do you argue with putting some miles on the car on a mild late summer day!
We're getting back into driving/car show season here as the heat diminishes, so hope to get out even more through September and October.

Good to see you boys and girls finally getting to be set loose on the latest offerings from the stable, enjoy your glorious open roads.

A great run out for the GEG St SWMBOs lunch with the WAGS.
3 CXs including mine and some great twisty roads across Suf&Essex to the Three Hills in Bartlow.
