Going to give this a go with a Blue Mohair tonneau from my Dads old 2007 Roadster 4 seater onto my new 2007 +4 4 seater..

Currently without any fittings.

Thinking black is the safest option over dark green. People do it with soft tops so no reason why it won’t work..

The above is thanks to AI..

Ordered a a cleaner and a 1L of Renovo for £16 but expect I might need 2…

Fingers crossed it works, if not will have a pattern for a replacement…

It looks great in black (AI)..... if it's half as good in real life I think you'll be happy.....!!!!😁
You might have an issue with the trim round the edge, will that take the stain like mohair.....???

Dave,
Thanks what I was thinking… fingers crossed. Ordered the Renovo cleaner to clean it first prior to recolour..

Given a new one is £800 it’s worth while giving a go..

Quick question for the fasters on the body is it best to use stainless steel to prevent the corrosion on the alloy body caused by the Morgan standard ones?

I'd use stainless.

Do you know what....... I don't like it......... I love it in blue! I think the contrast is great. If you went green in would never quite match and they do lighten over time. Black, OK but it's dead common and honestly, well it looks like they only come in black!

Fittings, stainless all the way!

So will need another coat but has worked quite well.

Will do a good job of covering luggage in the back etc

Looks good. The conversion inside my Roadster from beige to black was done with three coats.

Only concern is that the more coats you do the stiffer the fabric will be, unless there is a solution for post application.. I have the Renovo reproofer to go on when fished, have you tried that?
