The Ford Cyclone engine and German designed Ford MT82 gearbox in my Roadster both use metric fittings. Ford have built such for nearly twenty years.
The 3 litre Duratec V6 used in the first Roadsters, being developed by Porsche and Cosworth, not surprisingly also used metric fittings when adopted by Ford in 1996.
In fact the switch from SAE to metric fittings in mainstream US car brands started as early as 1973!
It took Morgan another 46 years before they fully adopted metric fittings throughout their cars though
