I think the same happened with the Aero Coupe and Supersports when they were factory fresh. They needed help to move. The 2013 silver factory demo car we bought was retailed at £114k with options. Due to a kind person from the forum helping we were able to own it for quite a bit less at that time.

I dont think the price is unreasonable for what is essentially a hand made car but it is an outlier in terms of the existing customer base.

As an example of other ultra niche low volume hand made cars look at the Alfaholics GTV's, MST Escorts. No change from £100k or even £200k there. Mind you I still think you only pay £2 for a pint.....

On that basis this one has a long way to go

Obviously, Alistair you are clearly out of touch,in that SW tourist hotspot.........Weatherspoons when on a promo you can get 2 pints of Worthington's Creamflow, and change from £2,, and the likes of Ruddles, Bud Light even when not on promo for £1.49 a pint....... served.in clean glasses too. None of that bring your own pewter mug malarky, and the spittoons and sawdust are changed for fresh each day, no cutting corners upt North ya knows.

It's only 1/2 pint of beer though, the rest is the head...

Tourist spot, how dare.....yeah. God save us. It's like they arrived and left their brains and walkabout skills in the AirBnB then went into town to cause mayhem. I have three V8's a none of them are subtle but I still worry about squishing some of them. (and getting caught)

Looks like the Supersport didn’t sell as back up for sale for £136k by the seller on autotrader.

Expect it is better to keep it than take such a big hit on price

The market for cars like this is always a bit odd. This isn't classic Ferrari prices, or even new RR prices - maybe top-end G-Wagen or Maybach when new? Is not part of the thrill getting to pick out your own specs, as opposed to buying pre-owned?

Two different cars. The SuperSport closed at £98k, now seems to be back on sale on Autotrader; the current offering on Collecting Cars is a Midsummer. I know which I would rather have ...
