Hi Andy

It is my own plan. I walked the route using the Measurement tool on Google Maps zooming into Street View to have a look at the more remote roads and that is how I came to 4690 Miles.

Street View is also good for checking out overnight stopping places and the car parking available.

It took a while to do but I enjoyed that part. Call me a Geek or a Sad Fool. Either fits nerd .

Brands Hatch Morgans isn't far off the route via North Kent to the Dartford Crossing.

One more for you Frank.

If you are using the King Harry Ferry (which rightly has the accolade of being one of the top ten most scenic crossings in the world) you will be passing close by Perranwell Garage, about two or three miles on the Falmouth side. If memory serves me right, it is signposted off the main road with a brown 'Morgan Hire' tourist sign.

The ferry should give you a good opportunity to do some bucket shaking for H4H - a captive audience! The proprietor is an ex military man and I am sure would not have any objections.

Thanks for the dealerships Heads Up everyone. thumbs

I will put them all on the list to try and visit.

The Ferry info and bucket idea is great Pete. It looks nice on Google Streetview. I will be carrying a collecting bucket.

As the advert says, John, Every Little Helps notworthy .

£1646.50 donated via Bmycharity with a further potential £286 from Gift Aid. most of which has come from the excellent generosity of very good friends here on Talk Morgan. I have received a few donations from other friends and one from the 1/4 page in the local press. wine

I have given up with MSCC and Miscellenay as no one seems to want to acknowledge the event so far banghead .

David's Waddesdon initiative and other donations have added £630 as well so it is looking very good happy3 .

I have also been invited to join the Ladies at High Wycombe Town Centre on Easter Saturday at their Help for Heroes Cake Sale. So there's Fame for you, no room for the car though? cloud9 .
