I looks about the same as pictures at the start of this thread, other than the lack of rev counter & the extra lights. I've ordered the walnut dash. I reckon I can live with that dash layout, but I do hope they've fitted a lid to the glove compartment.
There are times that you sometimes question Morgan's design teams capabilities and I must say that this is one of those times! Those warning lights behind the steering wheel are just dreadful.

No warning lights but pushbuttons behind (!!) the wheel...
And i´m afraid the two LARGE dials illuminate in a rather jukebox-like whitish-blueish manner ( ), as they are straight off the US-MUSTANG, plus in the lower sections of the speedo there are all the warning lights as in the same section of the rev counter there are the digital toys (who the sake need such DIGITALS in a Trad?? ).
@ 1560: "my" dashboard re-design is "brained" already (and, beside others, incorporates a superbe "classic flight" smiths rev counter + oil pressure and -temp gauges (already "in my stock" :))
@ Heinz: new 3,7 is announced at 950 kgs, same (announced) weight as former 3,0´s...

There was no need to re-engineer the dash. The new Roadster would sell itself on its increased engine size over the other models without the “added attraction” of a new dash. If there is one thing Morgan, of all car companies, should understand its the timeless adage that “if it ain’t broke don't fix it ?”.
