Thanks for the advice to all. Here's another clip I had. wobble movie3 Imho this cant be good. I can feel it at 50kph, immagine what oscilating forces are created at 140 kph . Frequency will be too high to feel it but I guess the forces have not gone away and might even cause damage to bearings etc? I'll show these to the dealer and see what he says. cheers J

The latter Gomog link should be useful to you I think.
I've looked at your first movie several times and can't make my mind up as to where the problem really lies. I have had a tyre that was out of round but I've long since replaced it with a good one.
If the rim is ok and the tyre isn't, a problem that come to mind from bicycle wheels, is the tyre mounted correctly? If yours is a tubed fitment you could investigate this by letting the air out, breaking the seal and reseating the tyre. Easy on a bike, not too bad on a vintage trike but will be a bit of work on a car tyre. A friendly tyre mechanic at tyre centre ought to be able to quickly do this.
If the tyre is tubeless though, unless the tyre is defective, I very much doubt the seating is incorrect as the fitting method normally precludes this.

When looking at Vid1 after repeated views I think there is a wobble at the spinner as well? I put a rule over the screen and looked for wobble/untrue running here and thought i detected some. The reflection off the chrome also shows some wobble. Could this be an out of line hub? Have you had the geometry checked?

IMHO the wheel is clearly out of true. Perhaps putting the better two wheels at the front, the best on the side of the steering box (if not rack and pinion), will help. It did on my car but in the end I bought new wheels to cure the wobble completely - and Michelin tyres because they were/are the "roundest". Continentals as used on the 4/4 Sports aren't bad, too.

Thanks again for the tips guys. The gomog article says up to 1/8" is acceptable, sounds a lot to me 3 x more than what I found. Tires are tubeless so probably seated ok. I also noticed a very slight wobble of the spinner, but then the outside of the spinner is not machined, probably a casting so maybe not 100% true. I sure hope the hubs are not wobbly. Would a geometry check reveal problems with hubs, wheel & tires? Need to see who can do this check around here. Ill let you know what comes out, cheers J

Can't you try another set of wheels first, surely your dealer could provide a set to try. That's the first thing I would try, before spending money on geometry checks, wheel alignment etc.

Hi Ivanford, Not that simple, need to be Roadster sport wheels (different hubs). The dealer is 200km away and they dont have a roadster sport in the shop. There are not many R-sports around here and none in the area. I'll give them a call and see what they say anyway. Cheers J
