I bought a Morgan script badge to put on the rear panel above the "Plus 4" badge. Has anyone done this or had one factory fitted? If so I would love to see a photo of how it is placed.

I've been considering putting a Morgan script badge on the rear of my +4 but I don't like the idea of drilling holes. Have you managed to get hold of a stick-on badge, or does yours require some hole drilling?

I think mine was fitted during initial build...

I am thinking of specifying this for my Plus 4 as an alternative to the Plus 4 badge. Looking at photographs it seems that cars either have a Plus 4 badge or a Morgan badge - but I am not sure I have ever seen both together.

I have never seen both. My +4 being an old girl has the +4 on the cowl badge

I fitted one a couple of weeks ago Peter. It is stuck on with trim tape rather than drill holes in the panel, plus with a Sport it would have meant taking the interior trim out to access the inside of the panel. The second attempt at cutting off the lugs on the badge worked....I learnt on the first attempt that the badge is very fragile and that one ended up as scrap! The trick is to stick the badge face down to a firm surface with trim tape, then carefully cut off the two mounting lugs with a fine saw or Dremel.

Thanks Jay.

I have no problem drilling holes, but naturally I want to get them in exactly the right position. The Plus 4 badge is mounted with the pins and nuts so 2 more holes don't worry me. I think I will make a template first. I will also make a photocopy to play about with a little to see how I think it should go.

Interesting that it seems that it is either one or the other and not both that are fitted. I must check to see if the pins are the same distance apart.

Does anyone have both?

The closest I have seen are the Roadster 100s and the badges are different

My plan is also to go for both - of course you want people to be 100% sure that they have been overtaken by a Morgan notworthy

I will also use double adhesive tape - holes are always a area for future problems...
