I too am tempted by the GoPro. I suspect you may get better results from an external mike. It would have to be properly shielded from wind noise. In the absence of a Morgan three wheeler I have lusted after a Triking for a good 25 years now. I have to say that (speaking as one who has never tried the Morgan) I don't feel that Morgan made good choices of power plant and drive train. To me the Guzzi power plant and drive train (shaft drive) with a supplementary Quaife reversing box would have been a better choice. But then I also must admit to a certain bias.

Nice video - a great ride in the virtual three wheeler rear seat Impressed about your friend riding shotgun with no head gear - I hope you found a varm pub to thaw him in afterwards. i now feel that a camera like that is a must, Santa please!

Thanks for such an honest write up. I am worried that if I drive one I will want one. Hi, Yesterday, I had the opportunity to drive a 3W. I came back with a biiig on my face. But an "absolutely want one" feeling (fortunately ) did not come up. Was it the (nonadjustable) driving position that did not suit me, the noisy transmission with it's quite stiff lever, the lack of power? (Compared to my Roadster... I was expecting much more, considering the power/weight ratio) I don't know... But the vehicle is very "sexy" and charismatic, with it's sound, the cart-like behavior and the overall appearance. But even though the 3w is not for me, I'm sure many out there will be happy with it. Have fun Sunny greetings, Ivo

Strange how you thought it was down on power. The rev limiter for mine is now off, and I went on a local run yesterday with a variety of cars, couple of comments form guys in C7 Corvettes about how they were surprised that I managed to leave them on the twisty roads we were on and this comment from a guy in a Skyline R32. "One minute.....pull away...next....Mirror full of Morgan !!!" Did have fun though.

Strange how you thought it was down on power. (...) Did have fun though. So did I, and the performance was great, no doubt, but less than I expected. Maybe, because the car I drove was still quite new and not yet "free" so I did not push it... But that's OK. I do have a perfect (for me) Morgan, the 3W is of my "list" and I can concentrate to other things in my life Sunny greetings, Ivo
