At todays austrian MTW presentation we could take a first glimpse of our new 4/4.
It's still in the workshop to fit the Motolita, luggage rack, etc.
Can't collect it until April 25th, got to work in Zurich till then.

Although my bonnet strap is of the softer sheepskin type, the paint is most likely to suffer some scratches. (Dirt stuck in the sheepskin, etc.)
But so what, it's a british roadster, keeping it in concourse condition is somehow against it's nature...
When I told my dealer, that the best thing one can do to stay relaxed concerning the car's condition is to kick it and leave the first scar yourself, he kind of hyperventilated...

Thanks guys. I wasn't completely sure etc but I may just get one to have on the sidelines in case I want to put it on. Glad it's an easy fit (unlike the over riders - which I'm told would be a much more complicated affair and helped my decision process)along the way.

Love the philosophy of self perpetuated first blemish! I did this accidently some years back with a brand new Heritage HD. You're actually right. It takes the sting out of some other prat doing it for you. In my case it was a screwdriver through the paint to the under-coat! Felt like a complete 'erse.' Would love to have seen the dealer's face on hearing your suggestion!

Is this the Koessler-Hammerschmid dealership? I was thinking of going over there while in Vienna, but wasn't sure if they were English-friendly(and that's not the Brit version...that'd be the American version, even worse!).

Yes it is the Koessler-Hammerschmid dealership. And they are english-friendly. (Would not make any sense otherwise, being a Morgan dealer, mmmh...)
They also organize Morgan holidays in Great Britain 4-5 times a year.
Including factory visits, Cornwall tours, etc. all in a rental Morgan, pretty cool.
They should be american-friendly as well, although you americans did that tea party thing...
Concerning your visit in may, I'm not sure I'll be around. Company has some tough times to beat, may be I have to work abroad a lot...
But nevertheless send me the dates of your visit, I'll do what I can for sure.

What color white is that?

Color is Sports Ivory. Looks a bit more "creamy" in reality.
Photo was taken with flash, therefore it looks pale.
