Did you pick this up from the Factory last Friday? if you were I believe I saw you getting the instruction from the factory rep on how to fit the door tops.

Yes I was there last Friday. I actually picked up the car on the Thursday, but within 50 miles the engine management light was on and there was a leak from a water hose. Luckily the factory was open on Good Friday and I could return to get things fixed. They were really helpful. Turns out that the "wrong catalyser" had been put on, and the hose was rubbing against the alternator mount. They managed to sort it out in a couple of hours (we, er... entertained ourselves looking around the sights of Malvern Link) and they also replaced the headlight glass which had already been broken by a stone. This was excellent service, as being Easter weekend, I was worried that there would be no chance of being able to drive back to Munich.
Moral of the story is, if you are picking up a new car from the factory, it is advisable to drive around the area for a couple of days before setting off on a longer trip.

Hi Gashers,
Too bad,we just missed each other! I was visiting the factory on good friday as well,took the 11:00 factory tour with Dixon.As we arrived at the factory,the first Morgan i laid my eyes on was yours..

Moral of the story is, if you are picking up a new car from the factory, it is advisable to drive around the area for a couple of days before setting off on a longer trip. I agree, it also give a chance to correct any little item that was on the order but somehow got missed. In our case leather on the steering column cover and a "trinket box" on the transmission hump.
