I have just take my early centerlock wheels off my aero to get them refurbed.

Trouble is they are magnesium and not many people do them

They aren't really damaged, just light scratches on a couple but I'm a total fruit loop at only 1 step behind Simon.

so I've asked my paintshop not to go back to the metal if they can help it but to use the special Chrom???????? (sumfin)etch primer that is recommended.

Had the proper stickers made up to go on top of the base coat before the lacquer is applied.

One set for the frog and another spare set I have for the circuit but in a slightly darker shade of silver and with sticky rubber (which brings me to my next Q

I notice some Aeros have wider tyres fitted up rear....does anyone know what I can go too.

I'm only letting you know cos Someone said its quiet on here.

Could you please advise where you were able to get the rim stickers made?

I've tried a few companies without success.

Tyre sizes are on my buyers guide article which is an Aero section sticky.

My local Motor Mode....took a wheel away and hey presto.

I'll find out a cost and let you know
