Well I too had my first drive of the 3 wheeler today , and I LOVED IT. It's brutal and uncompromised; the assault on the senses is amazing. The exhaust was surprisingly loud - but then I think Morgan France's demonstrator is maybe a pre production one as the Morgan France guys say the ones being delivered to customers are a lot quieter. Still, it meant I really didn't notice the whine from the transfer box that seems such an issue with everyone. I loved the torquey motor and found the performance to be more than adequate. The cockpit is very snug , and as the pedals were set for standard french short arses I was driving with my knees up around my ears, but with the pedals set for my height I reckon I'd be quite comfortable in it. I can understand the need for the seat belt extensions as fastening the belt was a bit of a faff.
I took it from a spin around the bois de boulogne in wonderful spring sunshine, the car drawing smiles and waves all round (even from a couple of transvestite hookers which is maybe not such a recommendation...) I salute MMC for having the guts to bring out something so original and so different to everything else on the market. If money and space were limitless I'd definitely add one to my stable, but they aren't, and I can't see myself replacing the 4/4 with one.
After the 3 wheeler, driving back home my 4/4 in comparison seemed so refined, roomy, comfortable, practical and sensible it made me feel rather boring. But then I'm a longtime Volvo driver, so I'm used to that !

Had my first drive of the 3 wheeler today and was surprised at fierceness of the clutch. It seemed to need the peddle pushing to the floor and then only taking very small movement to be fully engaged. Is this normal? It didn't help me being on the short side and the peddles a bit far forward.

The pedal box can be moved to one of three positions. Hopefully, for you, they weren't at the rearmost setting.

I found the clutch to be very progressive...no problems at all. Perhaps it was not properly adjusted on your demo car?

Tu as de la chance, j'ai fait l'essai sur sol détrempé mais, j'ai quand même passé Cde (Lois me refera faire un essai par beau temps, je devrai y retourner quand ils recevront une racing grey que je vois à quoi ressemblera la miènne.) Alors comme ça la version d'essai fait plus de bruit que celles qui seront livrées ?(dommage...) sinon sais tu au moins si celle d'essai fait la même puissance que celles qui seront livrées aux clients ?

En effet j'ai eu de la chance- c'était le seul beau jour du début d'Avril. Je n'ai pas posé la question par rapport à la puissance, mais je ne peux pas imaginer qu'il y a une différence importante avec les voitures livrées aux clients.

Graham,
fingers crossed for our Saturday excursion but Metcheck forecast more cloud but not rain.
We did my dughters school BBQ yesterday for their May Fair.
At least I was warm & we now have 150 burgers in the freezer at home.
