On a more serious note I think Vintage = Clutter  Notice the lawn mower and assorted tools and gaskets.

I have a different version. Been lying around the office for years  won't let me put it on the front of the house  Guess it will just have to go on the garage door

On a more serious note I think Vintage = Clutter Notice the lawn mower and assorted tools and gaskets. Is the Bike that Harley Davidson thats just been on Dealers for £45k ?

(hasn't paint started to be pretty expensive?). Opened up the paint today and it was still OK...and to my happy surprise: Sports White/Ivory Penny for Penny, or euro for euro i think you will find (like many things today) Paint is cheaper than ever I noticed in earlier posts that you seems to have expertice or special interest in the chemical department? Good to have that knowledge here att TM! When thinking about it...you might be right regarding the price, I just try to avoid buying all the the new super cheap no brand alternatives - or am I fooled in beliving that there is a difference in paint quality or amount of pigment?  Anyway, the sports white look-a-like looks great on the walls, second layer applied tomorrow

there are app 3 main Pigment manufactures around the world, whom sell to Paint manufacturers at similar prices, its then upto the Paint manufacturer as to the % of pigment-to-Resin ratio they work with (resin been the cheaper product) then the overheads he/she wants to incorporate, ie Reps Staff etc etc. Branding also plays a large part in pricing. example 1x Manufacturer, has 3x different Brands,and 3x different pricing structures, same stuff in either Tin, just Distributed in different channels.
