The Sport White used to be known as Sport Ivory. To my mind Ivory is a better description. The trim is in Muirhead Mulberry and the carpets and mohair hood in maroon. The car is fitted with a walnut dash, MotoLita steering wheel and luggage rack.

In a few of the photos is the Morgan leather suitcase and the strap fitted as I was shown at the factory.

Thanks Hamwich.... How much more legroom is available by moving the seat rails (roughly speaking)? Is this something a man who is nervous around spanners could do?

I had a while behind the wheel of the new factory Plus 8 a little while ago, but was sadly not paying full attention to the driving position whilst driving it..... Daft, I know, but I wasn't really in Morgan Buying Mode at the time.

On the later cars the seat runners are bolted directly to the floor...there are no wooden rails so you'll not be able to lower them. I'm just taking mine out at this very moment and its a swine trying to get a spanner onto the head of the bolts inside the car, never mind reach under the car with the other arm to try to undo the nuts...which of course are covered in underseal!

Use an open ender, vertically on the bolt head with another spanner across the top like a T bar.

I didn't realise the later cars don't have the wooden blocks. Colin Jones, who hangs out on Mogtalk, has a 2009 car, he's 6' 4" and a good 17 stone, and I think he did some work to get the seats back a bit. I know that on his previous car, a 2008 4-seater he got Allon Whites to move them back. I think you have to get rid of the moulded covers over the front ends of the rear springs.

On my sport the seats are that close to the floor I've ben thinking about buying an endoscope to look for lost keys, garage blippers etc. under the seats.

On ours, February 2012 build. I get the seat right back against the rear diff/battery/tooltray housing. There is no way of modifying to get it back further. I am 6ft tall but have very long arms and legs (in other words my height is in the legs , not the torso. I find the seating position just right though in the LHD version I have my left leg slightly bent and knee propped against the door when not using the clutch. I would say that a 6' 2" guy of average proportions would be fine. If he was leggy like me however it may be a little tight.

I suggest taking a new one for a drive. If you are serious about buying I think most dealers could arrange it or you can ask at the factory for a test drive.

I'm likely to buy it from a Morgan dealer, I guess I'd ask them to do it..... Is there much room behind the seats to give a little more legroom if required? Is there more legroom in some models than others? I imagine they're all the same, but don't know for sure.

I doubt there is more room...my seats go all the way back to the bulkhead. The best thing is to get to a dealers and have a sit in one...thats the only way to know if you'll be happy with the legroom.
