The builders are soon finished with our new stable/garage. I am really looking forward to move into this new heaven of creativity. My task will be to fix the inside and a useful interior in the garage. I guess I will spend some time during cold winter months in there so of cource I would also take the chance to make it look nice. Really like the vintage look of Heart of England Morgan's garage (just seen the outside). Can anyone please share links/photos to inspiring vintage garages (work benches, cabinets, tool trolleys....). Had 30 litres of quality wall paint (mixed wrong colour) from a friend long time ago, thought it might be useful (hasn't paint started to be pretty expensive?). Opened up the paint today and it was still OK...and to my happy surprise: Sports White/Ivory

Thanks Bud, those were the days...when garages serviced cars and not just sold sausages... Unfortunately I can not do that much with the exterior but the interior is open for creative solutions

You need some old style enamel signs like "Shell" etc to put on the wall. A collection of those old style oil jugs that Castrol use to do...you can still get them try places like Holden Holden Classics Have a look at Longstone Tyres Longstone Tyres they have some great slightly saucy old adverts for free! If you have room, an old battered sofa and a coffee machine is a good idea! Oh....and to go with the Morgan, a Pashley Guvnor classic bicycle, 1930's style and handmade in England not that far from Malvern by a company that was around in the early Morgan years! Pashley
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!

Best thing you could do is fill a plastic bin with popcorn and watch movies on TCM. Some of the old films have amazing (ordinary for the times) garages. Lots of inspiration.
