Thanks for this write up. I really enjoyed it. But - because i finally placed my order for my PLus 4 yesterday - after reading this the waiting for the car becomes a greater torture waiting

Congratulations Mark. I thoroughly enjoyed your write up and look forward to seeing some photos.

You may find the heater knob stiff at first. We could not get ours to come on and I thought we had turned it to the stop, 2 clicks. In fact it has 4 or 5 clicks (I can't remember) and after I complained at the first service that it was not coming on they showed me I had simply not been insistent enough.

Congratulations Mark.
Great write up, really enjoyed it.

Bonnet catches, I found (find) them difficult as well. There is a nack push down and pull out. Try one at a time.

Peter, thanks for your tip on the heater control, mines has been only showing 2 clicks. Just tried with more effort and was able to turn it anticlockwise so now have 5 clicks. The graphic is horizontal in 1st position (off?)

Guys thanks for the encouraging and positive response. A true community. I'll go and try the heater controls and see if I can shut it down. I think I've currently 3 clicks so there's another one or two in there. We're off to the continent in June so I really need the fan to turn off.

Krossek,

I found that waiting, deciding and generally fact finding was so positively assisted by this web forum that it was almost as if I already had the car and was only missing the log book. These guys will help the time go in for you, and I (and I'm sure all of them) wish you the very best for it when it comes.

Moss,I do hope you are aware of the Morgan group in Northern Ireland.. They are an active bunch and the group in Southern Ireland join in with them on occasion too! Lightsphere on this group(Dave Crystal)will introduce you if you send him a PM. We're collectively known as the PaddyMogs which seems to fit!!

Enjoy your many miles in the new car!!

Cheers for that again Robbie. I'm looking forward to meeting folks. Belfastgt3 was very helpful and mentioned there were others in the north.

Cheers.

Moss,

Look forward to seeing your pride and joy, sounds like a memorable journey. I did something similar some years ago but in January and I can remember everything about it.
Your local Morgan club is meeting at The Argory Historic House near Moy on Saturday, there is a Classic Car event and we are part of it. PM me if you want details. We have an event once a month.
