For one that has yet to visit the factory, they were facinating. What is the protocol for arranging a tour? Is it done through the factory or a local dealer, and what sort of notice is required. My M3W is supposedly being built next week, and it would be nice to visit then, would it be too late to get on a tour now?

Paul, I booked my visit directly with the factory. Details are on their website. Mention, at the time of booking, that you vehicle is being built. The factory will look up the chassis number and give it to the tour guide who will find the chassis for you whilst you are on the visit.
Make sure it is being built when you are there to avoid disappointment.
Take loads of pictures and if appropriate ask the guys to sign your vehicle.
And enjoy the day.

I went for a factory tour recently to see my Plus 4 in mid-production - the visit exceeded my expectations by far!! When mentioning having a car in production I received "special treatment" by the guide and the people in production ("well you are paying our salary..."). The best chance ever to get all your questions answered and to check out all the details - book now and enjoy! I took 380 pictures crazy2
Mine was booked by my dealer and was free (normally £10), but if you have a car in production maybe it is free what ever way you book.

Yes, what great images, thank you for uploading these! I too am a fan of Photobucket and I have been using that photo sharing site since 2003!

I love the fact that on a visit to the Factory, photographs are allowed.
In my experience, this is unheard of across most motor manufacturers.
But then I suppose that Morgan are confident that they have no direct competition and the skills on display have taken years to perfect?
Despite having seen the Factory a number of times; I am still excited each time I am there.

Thanks for sharing the pictures

It gave me a lot of insight on how the Morgan three wheeler is being build by hand and how it looks under the hood.

I'm over at the factory on the 8th if anyone needs any pictures of toys in build. PM me the details.

Charlie I assume you'll want me to take some video and hide it on Youtube for you to find. innocent
