A 'few' years ago I went with a fellow 'Morganeer' to pick - up a +8 from a VIP UAE National - Honary President of the then MSCC 'MOGITE' Center. I put something in the Glove Box and when dropped off back home, I retrieved my belongings and also a very tasty 'Beratta(?)' Automatic - returned to owner , I might add. Maybe the UK is 'Right' after all in banning 'Hand Guns! After all who knows what 'incidents' may provoke.

May get a set of those posh metal stands and ropes for when parking in future; should fit quite nicely on the ‘towel rail’ on the back!

Hi Paul, as I've done 2days training on defensive driving, one of the tricks that I've learn was how to keep a carpark slot, by parking your car broadside right in front of the space, so that it'll be obvious to other driver that you have claim that parking space,and they'll move on... only when there's no other cars around then you move forward and reverse into the space.

That's almost what I had done - parked at 90 degrees to the space, with bum projecting in front of it. Unfortunately that left it nicely exposed to be walloped by the naughty person.

Two days on defensive driving - sounds like great fun, and very educational.

Hi Paul, if every driver in this country took this course, the road would be much safer and more enjoyable to drive...As someone who has both artic class1 and m/bike license, and I did used them for a good number of years, i was still pleasantly surprised by how much I've learnt

Sorry I havent responded sooner but as you know I have been enjoying some fantastic Morganeering in France and have only just returned to a keyboard (as opposed to PDA).

Glad your back on board again; though I can't promise not to 'cross swords' or 'disagree vehemently' if applicable, as I'm afraid I will always say what I feel.

I will however try and make sure that I do not offend anyone, and that if I do, it will have been done inadvertently. (Checked the OEM and that is the correct usage )
