Hi,
Yes, Rod its the one at Berrybrook - well spotted - I'm due to pick it up in 10 days and drive it back to N Yorks, fingers crossed for a nice day!
Camelman - I figured the louvres are not strictly "relevant" on a car with a modern engine, and in fact I quite like the look without them. Do you happen to know if it appears on the v5 as a 4/4? Not that it really matters!
Does anyone have any views on wind deflectors (bear in mind this has the new screen) - are the Simmonds one worth the huge difference in price?
Thanks Nigel

In fact, I've been advised not to park facing downhill if rain is likely, and to cover the engine with a bin liner when washing the car to keep water off the engine, so there are a couple of bonuses for you!

Thanks Nigel I fitted one Morgan with them as I like the looks. The only disadvantage is they make opening the doors a little bit more difficult when you drive with side screens. Therefore I used them in summer only. (You don't have this problem with the Simmonds version.) When you are tall they are absolutely useless. They only 'work' when you are seated very close to the front screen. Roderich

Great Broughton, near Stokesley, on the edge of the N Yorks moors. Lots of nice B roads.

At least 333 miles for the first trip. I'm sure you will enjoy them and I do hope you will use the car more often than the first owner.

Paul, I never had any problems but a friend had. There is a solution on the Shropmog web page: Shropmog Press the 'Technical' button and look for '4/4 Zetec Cam Plate' Roderich

I once cleaned my 4/4 before a service & they couldn't change the plugs due to water in the well between the cams.
Over use of the hosepipe was to blame. Otherwise I never had an issue

I can see what this forum is all about now!
But...does anyone know the differences between a runabout and a 4/4? does it matter?
