Thanks TM'ers! cheers

Just returned from my Morgan dealer...what a great "motor" day, took delivery of my new commuter (Citroën C4) this morning and then now the first glimpse of my Plus 4.

When I arrived to my Morgan dealer he were out for a quick errand...so I had to stay outside for 20 min just seeing my car through the window without being able to come close – torture!!

But when let in to the show room...what can I say...she...(or he, not really decided yet, how do you know?) looked absolutely great! It for sure was a great highlight to see this car for the first time in all its glossy glory (even if the factory tour gave a pretty good foretaste).

In the photos it is more or less straight from the transporter and still to be delivery serviced and extras to be mounted.

To start with: bonnet strap in tan, MotoLita (wood - riveted with holes) polished aluminum boss with Morgan logo, chrome grill mesh, luggage rack, two or three eared spinners (recommendations please), side mirrors (round). Might also add: Morgan script badge (rear end, so people know what they have been overtaken by) and of course Union Jacks (left/right and rear), polished inner mirror and white flasher glasses at front…

The tan sun visors looked great by the way (sorry, not on photos).

More photos to come when delivered and tested. Have a great weekend (I am probably one of the few that long for monday already now). cheers

2012-04-03:

2012-04-05: It was a great show of workmanship to see the bonnet materialize in front of you from a piece of sheet metal.

So here it is today:

Maybe a bit wide but I think I can take it innocent

The colours of the Union Jack works great with Sports White/Ivory. The plan is to tape the Morgan script badge to the rear avoiding drilling.

Congratulations!!!

You must feel like sunny

What a nice car, and a well done list of options. Taking the all around classic style of your car into account i would opt for the two eared spinners. But why not try the three eared to see how it fits.

I don´t know where you live but the forecast tells sunny weather for Stockholm on Sunday.

Have a nice and sunny weekend - with her.

Thanks Heinz!

And todays "second torture" is that I can pick her up earliest on wednesday next week...but I will enjoy the sun anyway.

I held the three eared spinners next to the wheel and it looked great. The wheels are so deep so they are well inside the rim.

Hope you will have a sunny weekend too cheers

Great look.
Regarding 2 or 3 eared spinners , with the 2 eared spinners, you can buy a wooden tool to save damaging the spinner when removing them.

Roll on Monday

Lovely! A man of taste obviously!! Looking at the number written on the front wing.. K4906? That was the car in the second photo I posted a few days ago.

If you fit the Morgan badge yourself, be very careful cutting off the mounting lugs...the badge will snap VERY easily. I snapped the first one, the second I taped to a board with trim tape before cutting off the lugs with a Dremel.

Three eared spinners are more unusual than two in my view and look great. Not sure about what tools are available to get them off though whilst there is the wooden tool mentioned above and the MG Car Club sell a great tool to get them off without a hammer. Not sure if the wooden one works easily with the dished wheels whilst its great with the 4/4 narrow ones.

Anyway......roll on next week for you and have great fun!
