Not sure if it is of interest to anyone but SGT have just taken a Plus 8 LeMans Edition - the car is #11 of 40 Plus 8s and is in pristine condition. Thought it may be of interest to someone

just out of interest, what potential problems would one likely to encounter with a plus8, if any?

Obvioulsy the buyer shouldn't know about 'your' offer, Simon.

Rod, I was called by the dealer because he felt it may be of interest to me to replace my Aero. I can't say this particular car is; however, he did assure me it was in lovely condition and therefore I thought it may be worth mentioning to others ...you never know who may be tempted!

Simon, I do admit I had wanted one of the cars (in 2002) but I only found out about them a few days after my new Morgan had arrived. Later I thought that they only look perfect with the hard top. Without it the car looks more or less like any other green Morgan. Nevertheless it was better to have one of these than a normal green one. The one you mentioned has a soft top too. Very good. The one offered in Germany doesn't have one. Btw, the 'famous' French Morgan with the leopard paint job is an LM too. Probably you've seen it, at least in magazines. Roderich
