A 2 litre EcoBoost Plus 4 sounds great and would answer my dreams. But how can you be so sure that the current Roadster will be out of production in 3 years time? Actually it could still be in production but only just. From 1 Sept 2014 all new models must comply with Euro 6 standards. I suspect the 3.7 V6 may not meet these standards but I am not an automotive engineer so I could be quite wrong. Certainly by the middle of 2015, if the emissions can not comply with Euro 6 there will have to be a replacement because from the 1st January 2016 it will be impossible to register a Euro 5 vehicle. Any old stock in dealer's showrooms will have to be put in plates before that date. Car manufacturers usually comply with this type of regulation well in advance so I would expect to see Euro 6 compliant Morgans from the beginning of 2015.

I was lucky enough to drive this lovely monster last summer! No, that's no good. The canopy would get in the way of the glass At least no problems with emissions: pure steam (give or take a little steam oil...)

Jays, What's the history on that wagon, I see it has an old Northern Ireland (Belfast around 1920)registration number.

From what I've read on www there is no change between the euro V and euro VI emissions standards for petrol cars, or am I missing something obvious?

Ivan, all I can recall is that it spent all it's working life in Belfast Docks.....a very long working life. I loved it, no restoration apart from some boiler and mechanical stuff...all oily rag maintenance and a wonderful patina. I had a wonderful patina too after driving it!

You will have a great day tomorrow. Is it your first visit? If so...your life will never be the same again It is my first visit. I don’t think I will be able to sleep tonight. I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve. I have to get a grip - think how I will feel when its car delivery time ? Hope the factory tour were great. Guess you also got many useful impressions Did it make you re-think or change anything regarding your car - version/options/colours? Cheers

I had a fantastic trip Tony. It was great to see the cars being made (although being Saturday it was a quit day). Even better were the test drives afterwards - I took an Anniversary 4/4 for a spin. This has a 2 litre Duratec engine so it drives like a Plus 4, but is slightly lighter and faster. I also took a three wheeler for a spin and a grin is now permanantly tatooed on my face. What a blast - I have to have one (after the Plus 4 ). I think I have decided on the wire wheels as the best all round for me. And I think I have found a colour and trim combo that I like even more than black - a colour called Jaguar Azurite Blue, which looks lovely with Saddle Brown trim. This could be the colour combo for me as it looked stunning in real life - I also saw some Roadsters in production, including a Sport Grey one with brown trim, which I think is destined for our friend Numog. It looked beautiful.

Hi Quicksilver, We were there too,me and my better half as guests of Dave at Lifes Motors, An amazing day,I am thinking about a plus four, not sure about whether it will be a new one yet though, but did have a drive in the 4/4 Aniversary, which has the plus four engine, wow it was brilliant, thats made my mind up. The Factory tour was amazing ,my first tour,i am pretty sure there will be others to follow, especially if we opt for a new one, been thinking about nothing else since, but which colour, this seems to be the hardest choice of all, Regards, Colin.
