I presently have the original factory fitted front seats in vinyl, Would anyone out there happen to know whether any other seats would fit in a 1986 4/4, e.g. MGB, midget, Cobra etc.
I have been looking to have them recovered in leather however am (in my opinion) being given daft prices £1500 +. I am merely looking at other alternatives.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Guessing - MX5 (early) seem to fit most floor-pans.

I would guess MG ones would. From memory the MGOC have cheaper leather seats but you need to exchange frames.

If a re-cover is an option if the price is sensible, it may be worth calling Auto-Trim Systems 0116 266 4112. www.auto-trim.co.uk. I have used them for repairs to seats after a fellow member of DonMog used them for a re-furb. I do not know anybody who has used them for a seat re-trim but the work they have done is excellent and at reasonable prices. I live close to Leicester and took the seats to them.
