Guys,

Is there anyone who got the new Plus8 already delivered?

I expect mine to go into production end August and cannot wait to hear some reports from lucky owners wink

Thanks,

René

Drove an Automatic with rear exhausts last week, and loved it. Looks good, relatively easy to enter and exit, good driving position, nice 'meaty' steering, mainly very good ride except on huge bumps, extremely fast, sounds fantastic, nice interior.

For me, the manual gearbox would be preferable and I have heard it makes the car feel much more like a modern Plus 8 rather than a different model, but the automatic gearbox works very well, and the car is still very controllable.

The rear exhausts sound great and look great on the Plus 8, and I would not go for the side exhausts on this particular car, even though I love them on my Aero 8. Mind you, if you have gone for the side exhausts you'll love the rumble, so I wouldn't worry, either way.

Enjoy the anticipation! It's a great car for a quick blast and for long distances too.

Mine went into production last week so hope to get it in July, with any luck.

I'll let you know what it's like.

I shall have my 6 year old grandson with me - should be easy to spot from a distance!

More helpfully I should have some more details c.Monday. I will post my arrival time nearer the day.

Hi David & Rene,
I've one on order too. Was supposed to start in week 22 (last week) now I'm told week 22 is week 27. Also the build time is 8 weeks (like an Aero) not the originally quoted 6. So my mid July delivery is now end-August.
Another thing, I've asked for a metal lined 'trunk' that can be secured to the luggage rack. Ask Nick Baker if you see him on Weds.
Enjoy.
Alan

PS: factory told me the now have orders for 132 cars. If you get an update, do post it. http://www.mogwire.com/ but engine supply limited to 250, not the 450 they thought.
