Great post John and congrats on your new 3W. You really caught the essence of the car, mine has just gone up a level as i've obviously done 12-hours and the rev limiter has come off! woohoo

I look forward to hearing your further instalments, but in the meantime - enjoy... cheers flag

Cheers
Brian

P.S. Do't forget we love pictures! camera

What a nicely worded report John. Can I assume that your dealer was Perranwell near Truro? When I collected my car from the factory nearly two weeks ago, I was told Alan was collecting an M3W, which may well have been yours.

As I'm only up the M5 near Taunton, we should try and get together one fine day?

What colour combo did you choose?

John, an excellent write up and one I'll make sure to direct people seeking M3W info to. thumbs

Enjoy your new Morgan (that doesn't sound like a challenge!) and drive it in good health. smile

Thanks Guys.

Tried to put some effort into the review (just to compete with Steven Villatoro). Pics to follow once the rain stops here.

To Paul

This is my first Morgan and I chose the dealer (Berrybrook) simply on geography to be frank. Entirely happy with the service. It is a bit easier for me to bring the car up the A38 than across to Truro. There were another 3 cars being picked up over the weekend from this dealer (this was the second batch). Although my order was early (march last year), I fell through the net somewhere and had a slight delay. At least I have the new bevel box which is making a big difference as far as I can tell.

I have gone a bit bespoke with a Mercedes colour (Pearl Grey) and Mulberry red leather *having seen this combination on TM. Surprisingly, the colour is vaguely opalescent and seems to change tone in different settings. Quite odd but I do like it.

Would love to meet up and show you the delights of South Hams someday over the summer (when it finally arrives).

To Mi3

Have a GoPro ready to go. Just needs to stop raining.

John

Yes, I am looking forward to a bit of fair weather. Although Berrybrook is my closest dealer, I rather liked the feel and look of Perranwell, which is a real family run dealership, so opted for the extra distance, although in practice, I will probably have it serviced at Berrybook as well.

Time for a drink!
My dealer Lasse at Sportscar & Classic just phoned and told me that my new 3-W had arrived together with 3 sisters.
First test ride on Sunday - can hardly wait.
Have to pop over to Vetlanda tomorrow for a check after Mot test of my old 4/4.
