Ok, good advice. Thanks. Did I mention I ordered a Morgan today? A new 3.7 Roadster in sand with distressed tan, full bumpers, spots, luggage rack, walnut dash..... So I shall be a first time owner later this year. Congratulations Neil! Did you get the chance to drive the new 3.7?

I haven't driven the 3.7, but did drive a Roadster 3.0. Also drove the 2.0 4/4 Anniversary which was fun. I almost preferred the 4/4 to the Roadster.... However the 3.7 should have a lot more woof...
I figured there was little point buying a recent 3.0 Roadster as the Mustang-engined new version should be a very different beast.
I'm hoping the end of August will see mine delivered. This year. I got lucky with an allocated build slot.

Glad you added "This year." You're right, the 3.7 is a very different animal from the 3.0. I expected to feel at home in the new Mog, having covered about 30,000 miles in the last one, but I'm still getting used to this one ( well, that's my excuse for driving it at every opportunity!) Too early to really compare engines. The 3.0 only really gave full power after about 10,000 miles. I do find 1st gear a bit on the low side. I think I will end up starting in second. Ian

It was seeing the pics of your gleaming new Roadster that pushed me into buying the latest one Ian.
Might you change your dash, or are you happy with it?

Sorry to have lead you astray I'm not sure about the dash. The positioning of the instruments is not good, especially the speedo, & they are a bit on the large side. I'll see what's on offer after a few months. Ian

I now have an order number.
I swore I'd never wait for a new car again. Can't stand waiting.
