Yes it does, and it hurts.  Lucky I've now found enough asbestos fire blankets to get a pair of trousers made.

Very, very hot. Now that throttle cable that loops over the front cowl. It can be quite distracting........Any suggestions??

It just adds to the aviation image  Given Ivanford's comments about children climbing all over his M3W when he parked it, perhaps some aviation style 'do not step here' would be more appropriate!

Yes, I have had the same thought, both the engine and exhaust pipes will have a lot of residual heat left in them for quite some time after the car is parked and if someone stands a little too close they will surely get burnt, apart from the pain and danger of infection, I do wonder about liability in this day and age!
