Hi All, I've tried to hide this away in this section, as Boshly doesn't want to see the painting until it's finished, so no peeking Boshly! Today's progress photo of the painting is the main photo, the next one is how it looked yesterday. I'm timing myself each time I paint, 7 hours in so far, which includes griding up the canvas and drawing the picture out. Most of the paint is only one coat so far, it's my last shift day off tomorrow before 6 days on at work, so I'm hoping to progress with it tomorrow. Neil [img:center] [/img] [img:center] [/img]

Neil, that's looking good, I thought it was funny when you said he'd asked you to re-create this famous scene.

Neil, that is really starting to take shape... However, I'm a little concerned that there are numbers in the clouds... You didn't tell us that all your paintings were from Paint-by-numbers kits!

Haha, I was going to caution that by revealing his process some of the magic may wane. But yes, it looks as if it is coming along nicely.

and you think Boshers is not going to look, tut tut But you're wrong, the page opens from the bottom and so all I've done is scroll slowly upwards and looked at the comments, I've not peeked at the pics (yet?? ) And if I find Danny DeVito and Arnie in the finished painting, it's you Asbo who I'll come after
Cheers

I thought I'd post below the original photo so that you can see what it is I'm painting! I've also posted below the A4 print-out that shows how I grid of the image, which I then transfer to the canvas, so that it's all measured out properly, hence the "paint-by-numbers" technique Neil
